 All Gronell footwear is managed using particularly soft, tough and comfortable natural leathers to maximise foot comfort in all situations.  Wood Sole System- An exclusive patent giving completely natural comfort. The beech wood insole, tested by top level experts, ensure perfect thermal insulation in the most extreme conditions. The base's absolute rigidity increases the effectiveness and functionality of crampons.  An exclusive system inspired by classic Gronell workmanship. The method involved putting together the leather, upper and insole using a special stitching method traditionally done by hand. The advantage of this technique is that the shoe keeps its shape perfectly over time.  Density Concept- A new concept in sole design which uses a triple density bonded structure at key points in the footware:polyurethane Shoe Absorber technology gives stability to the heel, reinforcement to reduce the impact on rugged terrain, and ensure protection of the arch for correct secure movement. Out-Dry technology- Patented process completely seals the footwear by a waterproof and breathable membrane and guarantees zero water-pentetration. Primaloft- Lining in transpiring microfibre, which retains warmth from the feet and allows your feet to stay warm even in conditions of high humidity and low temperatures. eVent Fabric- A waterproof barrier that markes a significant advancement in ePTFE technology. Using propreietory and patented dry system technology, eVent fabric sets a new standard for comfort by allowing perspiration to dissipate and vent without saturating the inside of the fabric. Vibram- Gronell uses vibram as the choice for its outsole, supported by Vibram, the leader brand in this field that makes severe tests to maintain its high quality product, and more importantly, high performance. Good Year Process- One of the oldest used by Gronell and consists of using a seam, that until the 70's was actually hand made of leather welt, upper and insole.
