Shipping Information:
We are dedicated to a fast and efficient service. All orders are processed within 24-48hrs though usually the same day. In some cases, such as incorrect shipping information, a representative may have to contact you to process the order.
We try to keep all stocks up-to date but mistakes do happen and we apologise. The stock list on the site is not "live" with our warehouse and so in some rare cases we may have already sold out of certain products.
Postage is set at a standard rate of £1.50 for orders below £25 and then progressively up to a maximum of £3.95 for all UK orders. Scroll to the bottom of your shopping cart to see an exact figure, or checkout as normal to see the price you pay. Some extra large items will mention in the item description that a added postage surcharge is added. This is included in the price and so all you pay is the 3.95 as normal. For most UK orders we use Royal Mail 1st Class though for larger items we use UPS, Parcel Force, or DHL. For international orders, please contact us before placing your order and we will quote you a price on postage. Please note that for security we use recorded delivery with tracking to verify that our products reach you. This will require you to sign for delivery. Please note that many of our competitors feel the need to charge quite excessive shipping rates, especially on DVD's and Books; these items are subject to the same shipping rates as other items and in some cases come with free shipping. Keep an eye out for items with the 'Free Shipping' logo, these items have no added postage costs.
We do offer Next-Day service on selected items subject to stock availability. If you wish to use our next-day service please contact us and we will invoice you seperately. Out next day service is £9.95 on most items.
International:
Europe is set at a standard rate of £9.95. Most items in our store will be this rate but please note, for a few products (notably the large bouldering pads) we do not offer international postage.
We offer worldwide international shipping at a standard rate of £29.95. Please note that this is a rough estimate and most countries can be less than this. If you are ordering internationally, contact us for an exact quote or simply checkout using the standard rate and we will refund you the difference from cost. For an exact quote when ordering internationally, please email us at info@theclimberstore.com (or click 'Contact Us' on the left) to tell us what you would like and we will invoice you seperately. We will quote you a price for postage and you have the decision to accept this charge or not. Some larger/small item(s) have a higher/lower respective charge. International shipments must be paid through PayPal for security to both us and the customer. For international shipments we cannot accept different billing/shipping addresses. If you have any questions or want to recive an estimated postage cost, please contact us.
Payment:
We offer a number of different ways to pay, all of which are completely secure. See our 'about us' page for more on TheClimberStores security. If you have a google account, you may wish to use GoogleCheckout which streamlines the checkout process and allows you to keep all your private information with Google. This can be used for a number of stores across the internet. Our primary payment processing is handled by PayPal on behalf of TheClimberStore. You DO NOT need an account with paypal to pay using this method. If you do not have an account with paypal, select the credit card option during checkout and on the PayPal screen click 'Continue' on the left side. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Visa Electron, American Express, and Solo. You can also provide an e-check to paypal but we must wait for these funds to clear before shipment.
If you wish to pay by Cheque or Money Order simply select this at checkout. Please note that we will not post your order until the funds have been received and cleared with this method.
Returns:
Climbing gear and hardware, and climbing protection is not eligible for returns. This is due to safety reasons and not our own policy. The use of climbing gear and safety equipment once it leaves our store cannot be verified and so once the gear is sent it cannot be refunded or exchanged. The same applies to DVD's and certain books unless they are not opened and still sealed.
We offer a 17 day money back and 25 day exchange program less return postage on all other items subject to approval, this includes clothing/shoes that do not fit. Please note that it must be in resaleable condition with ALL tags attached. If you wish to make a refund on a purchase, please contact us. At the end of the day, we're nice guys and we'll work extra hard to make your happy!
